Welcome to K9 ABCs, a premier destination for dog training tips and techniques based in Miami, Florida. This Terms of Service agreement outlines the rules and regulations for your use of our website. By accessing or using our site, you accept these terms in full. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you must not use our website.

 

● Scheduling, Payment & Refunds

All sessions must be scheduled in advance through approved channels (e.g., online booking form, email, phone). Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing. Accepted payment methods may include cash, credit/debit card, Zelle, or invoicing platforms. Packages and bundles must be used within the time frame stated at purchase.

▪︎ Refunds – All packages and bundles are offered at a discounted rate based on a full program commitment. If you choose to end training early, $120 will be charged for each lesson already completed, and the remaining balance will be refunded. Refunds are not issued for missed or late-canceled lessons. Once all lessons in a program are completed, no refund is available.

● Cancellations, No-Shows & Attendance

At least 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule any session. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged in full. No-shows are considered forfeited sessions and are non-refundable. Exceptions for emergencies may be made at the discretion of K9 ABCs.

Training sessions begin and end at the scheduled time, regardless of client arrival. Late arrivals will receive the remaining portion of their session, and repeated lateness may result in shortened lessons without refund.

In the event of severe weather or other circumstances requiring K9 ABCs to cancel a session, the appointment will be rescheduled at no additional cost. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any session at any time for safety, health, or unforeseen circumstances.

● Eligibility & Behavior Disclosure

You must inform K9 ABCs of any known behavioral issues prior to the first session, including but not limited to aggression, fear-based behaviors, bite history, or reactivity.

▪︎ Any history of aggression toward people or bite history toward people/animals will result in an automatic decline of services.

▪︎ Aggression toward other dogs may be accepted on a case-by-case basis.

This information ensures safe and appropriate handling. K9 ABCs reserves the right to discontinue services if safety becomes a concern.

● Health & Vaccination Policy

All dogs participating in training must be up to date on vaccinations, including rabies, unless exempted by a veterinarian. Proof of vaccination may be requested during onboarding. Dogs showing signs of illness may be asked to reschedule to prevent health risks to others.

● Training Results Disclaimer

Training outcomes depend on several factors, including your dog’s temperament, learning history, and your consistency with the training plan. While K9 ABCs uses proven science-based methods, no specific outcome can be guaranteed.

● Liability & Risk Acknowledgment

Training involves risk. By participating in services, you agree to assume full responsibility for your dog’s behavior and any resulting injuries or damages. K9 ABCs, its owner, and affiliates are not liable for any incidents or injuries occurring during or after training, including those involving third parties.

● Media Use & Permissions

Photos and videos may be taken during training sessions for use in marketing, education, or promotional materials. By booking services, you grant permission for your dog’s likeness to be used publicly. If you prefer not to be included, you must notify K9 ABCs in writing before or during training.

All media content produced by K9 ABCs remains the intellectual property of K9 ABCs and may not be reused or distributed without permission.

● Use of Third-Party Tools

K9 ABCs may use third-party tools such as:

▪︎ Booking platforms (e.g., Calendly, Square, Durable)

▪︎ Communication tools (e.g., Google Forms, email services)

▪︎ Payment processors (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, Zelle)

▪︎ Cloud storage or file sharing services

When you use these services as part of scheduling or paying for training, you agree to their terms of service and privacy policies. K9 ABCs is not responsible for data shared through or managed by these third-party services.

● Use of Content

All content provided on the K9 ABCs website, including text, images, and tutorials, is for your general information and use only. It is subject to change without notice. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit the content unless explicitly authorized by us in writing. Unauthorized use of this website may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offense.

● User Responsibilities

Users must adhere to any posted guidelines or rules applicable to specific areas or services on the site.
